From Scratch
From Scratch is our flagship 'Scratch Night', aiming to provide a platform for new and upcoming artists to share their work.
Playwrights, Directors & Actors will have the opportunity to showcase their talents as we stage a series of short plays to an audience of local theatre-goers.
Get involved
Writers
Whether you're a budding or an established writer, if you've got a story to tell, we'd like to hear it. We're looking for pieces for stage of around 10 minutes - but the rest is up to you. Make it funny, make it thoughtful; make it a bustling dinner table scene or a monologue.
Directors
If you've got an eye for staging and the desire to take charge of a piece, we
want to hear from you. We're looking for directors to work with writers and actors to help design, shape, and stage these short plays - to create an amazing
night of new theatre in our community.
Actors
We're looking for talented actors to help bring our writers' work to life. No formal training or headshots necessary here -
all you need to bring is a desire to perform and a dedication to collaborating with the rest of our company on some amazing pieces.
