I like long walks, crunchy snacks and being called ‘little sausage’. I don’t have many theatre credits due to my lack of opposable thumbs, which makes turning script pages very difficult, but I have a lot of spirit and-

MO&NA (pronounced mona) Theatre Company C.I.C is a Bedford-based theatre company (and registered community interest company) that aims to bring new writing, new talent & new ideas to the stage. We champion kindness, creativity and a ‘have-a-go-’ spirit, whilst striving for high quality art that engages and inspires audiences.
Our journey began in 2023, when we decided that our less-than-creative day jobs weren’t enough to keep our artistic juices flowing. We want to provide spaces for likeminded individuals to share their talents, try new things and be a part of something special outside the hustle-and-bustle of daily life.
Our flagship event, From Scratch is a community project driven by the goal of providing wellbeing & creative opportunities to the Bedford community. It invites locals to write for, direct or perform in a series of short plays that platform the voices of our wonderful town.
In short, we want to create spaces for modern, original performances and platform new, emerging artists.
